WESTERN DAYS VIENNA LAGER
Western Days, our flagship beer, was a staple in West Allis culture for over forty years. Every year, over Fathers' Day weekend, folks from near and far would gather to watch the parade or the rodeos, or to participate in one of the many events that were all part of the extravaganza. While Western Days continues to sink further into the pages of our city's history, the memories it left will always remain as some of our fondest. Our flagship Vienna Lager is sure to inspire some of these memories and keep its legacy alive. The aggressive use of imported Vienna malts lend this beer the delicate flavor that make it suitable to drink year round, night or day, or even for breakfast! |

MUSTANG AMERICAN PALE ALE
Opened in 1927, West Milwaukee High School served its community as the Mustangs for many years. But the school that Liberace once called home was finally closed in 1992 and the Mustangs joined the ranks of the Huskies and Bulldogs. Our American Pale Ale pays tribute to the former high school, while our taproom provides refuge for these Mustangs of yesteryear. Loaded with Citra hops, this beer is a perfect balance of hop flavor, aroma and bitterness against a rich malt backbone. |

THE LOST TURN - ROGGEN BIER
Before laws dictated what ingredients could be used in their brewing, rye ales were common in parts of Germany. However, like happens so often to us as people, many of these rye ales became lost to the darkness....wandering desperately, in hopes to be found. "The Lost Turn" represents the spirit of traveling into the unknown. By peeling back layers of our own history, we begin to rediscover things that have always been there. The "lost" are found again at Westallion Brewing as Roggenbiers (translation: rye beer) represent a lone glimmer of light for these rye ales of brewing past. Ours combines the highest quality German malts and German noble hops to create a balanced foundation that allows the rye to jump in and take center stage. It shares many of the clove-like and effervescent qualities of a Hefeweizen, but the spiciness of the rye leaves no doubt about the beer's main ingredient. "All of us get lost in the darkness. GENERALE SCOTTISH ALE
Did you know... That Gen. Mitchell is often called, "The Father of the United States Air Force"? Or that he predicted an inevitable clash between the U.S. and Japan that would be determined by air superiority? Or that the B-25 Mitchell was named in his honor? Or that he grew up right here in West Allis? Our Scottish Ale pays tribute to the General, by dropping bombs of Maris Otter at the forefront with supporting English Brown and Crystal malts in the background. Reinforcing the strong caramel base are the U.K. Fuggles that are added to give the beer its balance. |

HARVEY'S WALLBANGIN' WEE HEAVY
In his playing days, Harvey Kuenn was a 9-time all star and even won AL Rookie of the Year in 1953, while with the Detroit Tigers. As a manager, he brought the Milwaukee Brewers to their very first World Series in 1982. In the process, Harvey's Wallbangers were born; an offensive power squad that could light up a score board with their ability to hit home runs. Yet, maybe the most significant fact here is that Harvey Kuenn was born in West Allis on Dec 4th, 1930. Much like Harvey's Wallbangers, our Wee Heavy is also a power hitter, weighing in just shy of 10% ABV. Loads of U.K. Fuggles hops are offered against a rich Marris Otther Malt backbone to create a balancing act of flavor. Think, our Generale Scottish Ale, ramped up to hit heavy! PEANUT BUTTER PORTER
A brewery in West Allis? Peanut Butter in beer? A few years ago, either of these questions would've raised eyebrows. Now they're both staples! We brewed this beer to call attention to the foodie scene that has sprouted here in West Allis. From German to Peruvian and just about everything in between, West Allis offers a range of flavors that's sure to quench the palates of even the most advanced food critics. Our Peanut Butter Porter is brewed with generous amounts of grains that are regarded for their butty profiles and teamed up with a healthy dose of our favorite chocolate malt. Toward the end of the process, we add natural flavors that help accentuate the aromas and flavors that are already there. |

CANDY CORN CREAM ALE
Whether you love it, or claim to hate it, there's no denying that Candy Corn is THE Halloween staple candy. Made famous by Goelitz Confectionary Company (now Jelly Belly), this seasonal favorite that was originally called "chicken feed" has been stuffed into orange pumpkin buckets since the late 1800s! But what is it? Candy Corn is basically a load of sugar bound together by corn syrup, gelatins and other artificial flavors and colors. But for us, we just couldn'ty help bu wonder what candy corn would be like as a beer...our love runs that deep. So, at the base, we created a cream ale using lactose sugars to keep some sweetness, but added some Simcoe hops to create a bit of a bite and a balance. Instead of smashing up some candy corns and throwing them in our beer, we made our own candy corn out of less beer destructive ingredients and thre them into the beer. |
